Stan the Van Man (“we,” “us”) provides passenger transportation to and from airports in Indiana and surrounding states.
Information we collect.
When you book a ride we collect your name, phone number, email, pickup and drop-off addresses, and trip details. We collect this directly from you by phone, text, email, or our booking form.
How we use it.
To schedule, confirm, and complete your trip; to send you ride confirmations, driver and vehicle details, and reminders by text message; and to contact you about your booking.
Text messaging.
By providing your phone number you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages from us related to your reservation. Message frequency varies by trip activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.
No sharing of mobile information.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with.
We share trip details only with the assigned driver, and with service providers who help us operate (such as our messaging provider). We do not sell your information.
Retention and security.
We keep booking records as long as needed for business and tax purposes and take reasonable steps to protect them.
Payment information.
When you pay for a ride we collect payment card details in order to process the charge. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Square, and are handled under their security standards. We do not store full card numbers. We retain only the information needed for our records, such as the last four digits, the transaction amount, and the date.

Program description.
Stan the Van Man sends text messages to customers about their scheduled rides, including booking confirmations, driver and vehicle information, pickup reminders, and changes to trip details. We also use text to answer questions about existing or upcoming reservations.
How you sign up.
You consent to receive text messages when you provide your mobile number while booking a ride — by phone, email, text, or through our online booking form — or when you text us directly. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency.
Message frequency varies and depends on your ride activity. You may receive several messages around the time of a scheduled trip.
Cost.
Message and data rates may apply. Stan the Van Man does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
